Portrait photography is the art of capturing a person’s identity through an image. Oops works with our clients to take on this important task. We want to ensure we are highlighting the unique qualities and personality of each individual.
No, there is not a time limit for your portrait photography session. However, we will need to know how much time to dedicate to you on the day of your photoshoot. The average portrait session takes one to two hours depending on whether you want your picture taken in the studio, on location or both.
You can bring as many outfits as you’d like, but we recommend you limit yourself to two or three. If you’re unsure of what you want to wear, our hair/makeup designer can help you narrow down your choices. Multiple outfits are often best for studio portraits as we have a changing area available for you to use.
There is not a limit on poses. We want you to have ample options when you pick out which images to print and use on your business profile, dating site or social media. Our team will encourage you to strike several poses, which helps you feel comfortable in front of the lens and gives them the opportunity to catch a genuine smile and pose.
Yes, our team works with professional hair and makeup artists to provide anything you need during the portrait session. Most of our portrait sessions include full fair and glamorous make-up, and you can add hair and make-up to any photoshoot.
Many of our clients choose to do their photoshoot in the studio and on location. Our photographers will likely have you start in the studio, so any outfit changes can be done before we depart for the location. However, if your desired spot for photos is far away from our studio, we may need to split your portrait session into a two-day shoot.
The final price depends on which photographer you work with and the number of photos in your portrait collection. You can always check out our service page to get a better sense of the price!
Our average turnaround for portrait photography is one week. We may also post a teaser image on social media while we finish the editing process.
While you will have access to your images online to purchase prints and use on your website, dating profile or social media accounts, Oops retains the copyright for your photos. We update our portfolio often and may use your photographs for advertising purposes. However, if you’re uncomfortable with your images being used in our marketing efforts, we can discuss other options.
When your job is completed, we will email a sample watermarked file(s) or provide instructions and a link to preview your images via your web browser. These low resolution images are for preview purposes only.
